Ofgem has launched an inquiry into Npower after the energy supplier made errors in its reporting under the Renewables Obligation (RO) and Feed in Tariff (FiT) scheme.
The energy regulator will investigate the data submitted for the 2010/11 and 2011/12 reporting periods.
In a statement, Npower said: “At Npower, our internal policy is one of zero tolerance to any deficiency against our obligations.
“The error was picked up as a result of new processes we put in place, which pick up smaller discrepancies.
