SSE full-year pre-tax profit rose to 2.1 billion pounds from 1.64 billion pounds; and adjusted pre-tax profit, excluding exceptional items, remeasurements arising from IAS 39, and after the removal of taxation and interest on profits from jointly controlled entities and associates, improved to 1.31 billion pounds from 1.29 billion pounds in the previous year, which is mainly attributable to growth in Energy Networks.
